In the article The impact of physical exercise on convergent and divergent thinking, by Frontiers in Psychology, researchers set out to study how physical exercise can affect convergent and divergent thinking. Convergent thinking is finding out one possible solution for particular problem using logic and speed, such as a multiple choice quiz. Divergent thinking allows many ideas to be generated, such as brainstorming. It is important to know if physical exercise can help us become more creative or become more focused because if the results show some type of correlation between such factors, many people will begin to exercise and study. Not only will such findings promote better test results and technology outbreaks, but also a healthier lifestyle for others. The main results of the study were that there were increased HR, SBP, and DBP during moderate and intense workouts compared to when the participant was resting.
