Millennials, or people reaching young adulthood in early 21st century, are drastically different from Generation X, the generation before Millennials. These Millennials come into the workforce, expecting to start at the top of the chain, bossing other people around. They expect to come to the company and not have to put in any work to rise up. They think that as soon as they are out of college they will not have to search or try very hard for a job. Furthermore, they think that the entire company revolves around them and the whole company will be handed over to them whenever they want. For instance, currently there is a rather large debate on gun laws over whether they should be banned completely, laws severely increased, or laws should remain the same. Many of the people arguing for either the ban or increased laws lean more to the left, or democratic. Several Millennials are democratic and support the increase of gun laws. There have been multiple protests about gun control with a majority of people participating being Millennials. The people that are protesting generally are very closed minded and if they have a different opinion, they tend not to see or understand the opposing
