There is a wide variety of freshwater fish to catch in lakes, streams and ponds. First let's talk about panfish, panfish are the very small prey fish consisting of bluegill, perch, pumpkinseed, and sunfish. Bluegill, pumpkinseed and sunfish are usually a green/ blue fish and aren't usually bigger than 8 in. Perch are a green/ yellow skinny fish that makes a good meal and are usually around 12 in. Next let's talk about the bass family, the bass family consists of the largemouth bass, the smallmouth bass and rock bass. The largemouth bass is usually green/light green and don´t usually get bigger than 25 in. The smallmouth bass is a dark green fish that usually gets to be around 20-25 in.
