The Controversy of Abortion Abortion is wrong and should not be allowed. The definition of abortion is “The deliberate termination of a human pregnancy.” (dictionary.com) This is a very controversial topic for some people. Abortion can be looked at as okay by some, or as murder by others. Some people justify abortion by saying a variety of different things. I personally believe that abortion is murder and that life begins at conception. The definition of abortion is “The deliberate termination of a human pregnancy.” (Dictionary.com). An abortion is performed when a mother of a child decides that she does not want to have a child. This operation is performed by scheduling an appointment at your local planned parenthood center and then going in for the procedure. During this procedure, they examine your uterus and numb you. Then, they will insert a tool to go in and remove the pregnancy …show more content…
I believe this because of the fact that a human life is created when the embryo/fetus/child is conceived. If you have ever seen a post abortion picture it looks like you took a newborn baby shrunk it and then cut it like a steak. It is disgusting. Women can be charged and convicted of a “crime” because they used drugs while pregnant. What if this woman got an abortion instead? Does this then make it okay? There are a lot of things legal wise that do not make very much sense to me. That child is a living, eating, breathing life they just live and grow in the beginning of their life inside a woman’s body. I have heard the example used “if someone comes and stabs you while you’re sleeping and you die if that murder. Of course, you would say yes; however if a baby is inside a woman’s body sleeping and eating but they have not been birthed yet and you take tools to crush their skull and rip the limbs off then it is okay? NO, and any reasonable thinking person could
