Controversy About Making Connections With Their Parents

It is important to understand that there will always be a wide spectrum when it comes to facing a different type of situation. While assessing our attitudes toward families, students and even our superiors, it is important to come to an understanding that attitude is everything. When you have a positive attitude you become successful. When you have a negative approach things start to fall apart and that could lead to frustration. Negativity and frustration is something that you want to try avoiding. It gets you nowhere. It leads to failure. A good educator has compassion and the desire to reach out to their students and work well with them. I also believe that a lot of educators work well with their parents because they support and have faith in the same student. It’s not my responsibility to teach parents how to raise their children or help them figure out how to help their child. They need to learn how to raise their children on their own. I think we do too much for parents as it is, like providing public housing and welfare for many of these parents.
