I have only been eighteen years old for about two months, but I feel like I’ve been an adult for years. Part of the reason may be because of the Presidential Election, while the other part is because of the controversial issues that surround us, from the terror attacks in our nation to the Black Lives Matter protest. With the election rapidly approaching, I believe we have not focused on the important issues that affect us everyday.
