Controversial Argument Analysis

This paper was also a mess. Mainly because of how controversial the topic is right now. It was extremely difficult to be politically correct and saying the wrong statement and it being offensive. Getting accurate information was also difficult because in this topic a lot of people have the wrong information or just lie. In my research it said that a lot of people are in denial about racism which makes sense. So, getting an unbiased source was hard. Then, since I feel so passionately about this topic it was hard to be unbiased and not put my opinion into it without me being pushed into a different area of the topic. Fighting against that was exhausting. For some reason I always ended up choosing the most troublesome and tiring topics. I say

peacekeeping abroad is able to express the values of their country. Through the years in past recognition, Lester B. Pearson was a well-known advocator in the promotion of peace and security during the Suez Crisis in 1956. Canada’s political views were greatly dominated by Great Britain, but in the event of the Suez Crisis, Pearson allowed Canada’s views to undergo a transition that was promoting the interests of Canada and our urge to act on the international scale (Carroll, 2009). Through Pearson’s ability to establish the United Nations Emergency Force to resolve the conflict of the Suez Crisis and earn a Nobel Peace Prize for these initiatives, Canada was taken to the center stage and was officially viewed as a peacekeeper (Carroll, 2009).…

To accurately depict the overarching qualities of Northwestern which I find most intriguing, it is easiest to provide a line from the university’s president, Morton Shapiro, on why the university stands out from their competitors. While emphasizing the school’s motivated approach to maximizing attention toward undergraduate students, Shapiro professed that the school’s “focus on undergrads without losing the identity as a great research institute” is a quality that sets Northwestern apart. This ideal, which is a crucial part of Northwestern’s identity, makes it all the more captivating. In the majority of colleges I have researched during my prodigious quest for the perfect university, I found that their “commitment to every student” was…

During the 2014 AFC Championship game, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots were involved in an allegation in which the team tampered footballs, making them deflated so it was easier to throw the football for the quarterback. The Indianapolis Colts were suspicious of this act, as their quarterback Andrew Luck tried to throw the ball as normal but failed to do so. This controversy, known as Deflategate, sparked tension between the NFL Association, teams, and players, wanting punishment for the current Super Bowl champions. Fans of the Patriots saw it different than others, thinking that the NFL Association is singling out the Patriots, wanting other teams to be on the top of the standings for football.…

When ideas are created, they are just thoughts; yet no one ever knows just how extreme those thoughts can become. In the book Divergent, written by Veronica Roth, there are many ideas that cross the line of good and bad. A good idea has become extreme when the outcome has a negative influence on people or a civilization. Paragraph 1: The main idea that went to the extreme and created a rubber band effect is the idea of having factions. There are five factions; Abnegation, Amity, Candor, Erudite, and Dauntless.…

Racism is a very big problem in America and we need to find ways to solve it or overcome it that is the main reason for this paper. To overcome means to get rid of the problem or make it to where the problem does not really exist in your life anymore. C : If we don 't have borders, we don 't have a country. Being charitable and filling in implicit premises, Trump’s argument takes on the following format: P1: All countries have borders P2:…
