The lab that is being conducted is a controlled experiment. The controlled variables included the gender, which was female, the age, which was young girls (17-18), their athletic ability, which was none, and their health, which the subjects were not sick or had any illness or disease.

 None of the test subjects consumed alcohol, therefore their reaction times were not impaired
 All test subjects were having a good day, so emotions such as grief, anger did not affect their reaction time
 I made sure to tell my test subjects the day before to get enough sleep, and to not consume caffeine. o Qualitative
 Rulers were light and made of plastic.
 Also, the rulers were, not slippery, thus didn't affect the results
 Eye mask/shade was an opaque scarf

This graph demonstrates the subjects’ visual, auditory, and tactile response when using one ruler. The average visual response had the slowest response as the majority of the reaction times are 0.20 seconds or above, as well as it has an average reaction time of 0.20 seconds. Subject number three is an outlier because her reaction time is 0.13 seconds, as well as her average tactile response, is 8.67 centimeters whereas the rest of the subjects have an average tactile response ranging from twelve to sixteen centimeters with a reaction time of 0.15 to 0.18 seconds. The auditory response data has an average reaction time of 0.17 seconds. Subject number four can be considered as an outlier since her reaction time of 0.22 seconds, as well as her reaction response of 22.33 centimeters is spread out from the rest of the reaction time to the auditory response data. The rest of the subjects have an average auditory response ranging from thirteen to eighteen centimeters with a reaction time of 0.16 to 0.19
