Continuum Process Of Work Essay

Decent Essays
Seeing work as continuum process through my family has served a great purpose in my life. I witnessed how much effort goes into work, especially, if you don’t like where you are at or its not your calling. Even though, this lesson has severed a good purpose in my life, I still witnessed negative sides of it. My father had to make personal scarifies for work. He was so busy working that he didn’t make time for his family. We didn’t get to see our father all the time and my mom had to stay home. She had to sacrifice her goals so that my father can get to where he wants to be. The continuum process of work has affected my father’s relationship with his family.

In 2015 I directed, with Flinders University Drama Centre, Who’s Afraid of the Working Class. This production was part of my assessment at Flinders University for my Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) – Directing Degree. Originally when planning on critically reflecting on this production I had planned to omit the requirements and restrictions that the university placed upon the process however on further reflection those requirements and restrictions are comparable to those placed upon a director by a producer or artistic director. This process included auditions, production meetings, readings, rehearsals and the eventual staging of the production. Along with myself on this production was Morag Cook who assisted me in design, Dr Anne Thompson who assisted me in the role of director, and Andrew Bailey who was our Stage Manager.…

When we notice that something in our life is not going as the plan we have to evaluate our lives in order to fix it. My mother always told me how in life if I want something I should work hard for it because no one is going to give me anything if I don't work hard for it. The story not only questioned the conventional wisdom of the time, but provides the framework for addressing the issues of theodicy and man’s attempts to rectify the intrinsic good/omnipotent nature of god with their suffering. The story of Job shows that the scales of God’s justice are not necessarily balanced towards the righteous, with the wicked and evil being allowed to live prosperous lives.…
