1. Define continuous health program improvement. What is its relationship with evaluation?

Continuous health program improvement is a cyclical (repetitive) model that is used for health education, program planning, and implementation. Its relationship to evaluation is it being the fourth step in the model which is needed after the health program has been implemented. It is essential for improving the effectiveness of a program once evaluators have reviewed it.

2. Discuss some common health education and health promotion planning models. What are some common themes for evaluation in these models?

Some common health education and health promotion planning models are Planning Approach to Community Health (PATCH) model, PRECEDE/PROCEED model, Community Health Improvement Process (CHIP) model, Multilevel Approach to Community Health (MATCH) model, and Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation (RE-AIM) model. The organization/administrator key interests are level of impact, performance level of staff, usefulness of material and cost of program and resources. The target population interests are if the health is worth participating in, pros and cons, leaders of the program, and funds. The general public key interest is if resources are being used efficiently. The professional staff interest are performance, usefulness of the materials, continuation of program, and implementation of health program design. Lastly, the evaluator key interests are if the goals/objectives of program were met, program impact, contribution to health outcome, implementation of program, and satisfaction of target
