In his article entitled “Keeping Business Education Relevant: A Contextual Curriculum to Sustain Secondary Business Education Programs”, Stapleton (2010) discusses the future of the secondary business education which is facing a significant decrease in the enrolment status among students. He gives an example of the 60% drop in earning 3 credits or more in business classes within the secondary education context from 1982 to 1998. The challenges are associated with educational reform desired at the national level and changes in the interests of students looking for practical classes benefiting their future career or postsecondary education. All these are reflections to the changes in the labor market and shifts in its rends.
