The first body is the Congress. It is the legislative branch of the government that consists of the Senate and House of Representatives (Cameron and Trivedi 17). The Senate and representatives are elected by citizens to present their interests at the Congress. The Congress house holds their meetings once a year on the first Monday of December. The many duties of the Congress are making Laws and Regulations for the country. If a citizen breaks any of the law, it defines punishment for such. It also collects taxes and duties. They establish post offices and set Duty rates. When the country faces an external threat, the Congress is responsible for planning a war against an enemy and provides finances for the defense.
