The first body is the Congress. It is the legislative branch of the government that consists of the Senate and House of Representatives (Cameron and Trivedi 17). The Senate and representatives are elected by citizens to present their interests at the Congress. The Congress house holds their meetings once a year on the first Monday of December. The many duties of the Congress are making Laws and Regulations for the country. If a citizen breaks any of the law, it defines punishment for such. It also collects taxes and duties. They establish post offices and set Duty rates. When the country faces an external threat, the Congress is responsible for planning a war against an enemy and provides finances for the defense. Additionally, it is in charge of borrowing money on behalf of the country in times of need and responsible for paying back the debt. Congress also coins money, regulate money value and set standard Weights and measure (Cameron and Trivedi 50). The body protects the country by raising, supporting and maintaining an army. The second aspect is social policy. Social Policies are public services concerned with the welfare of the citizens (Gilbert and Terrell 27). Primarily, they are concerned with, poverty, unemployment, poor health, inadequate housing and the lack of education. The social policy plans are carried out by the government office in partnership with various non-profit organizations. Their duties include serving the disabled by protecting their interests and provide counseling to institutions serving the disabled. The organizations provide benefits to the elderly, who are too old to work; they also offer nursing home services, healthcare and professional care services. Additionally, it also ensure the homeless and poor in the society have shelter and food (Gilbert and Terrell 100). It also ensures the youth are considered first when applying for jobs and provide upkeep money for the unemployed. Social policies services can only be provided, if employed citizens contribute a small percentage of their income to aid in helping the less privileged. The third body is The Presidency. Chief Legislator is also part of the presidency and works with the Congress in forming new legislations. In addition to educating the citizens, the Congress has established monitoring systems and surveillance against terrorism attacks. Monitoring is achieved by the use of advanced cameras in public places to monitor any suspicious activities within a given region (Cameron and Trivedi 189). The public is also advised to report, in case they feel threatened by an individual, who seems suspicious. After the report, the area is put under guard and surveillance. In addition to monitoring, the Congress has improved on the protective system for citizens. The number of police officers standing on guard in public places such as a mall or parking has also been increased. All these strategies were employed since 2012, and there has been a significant decrease in terrorism-related
