Consul Character Analysis

Great Essays
I represent the personality, consul according to the responses I provided when I took the personality test. A consul has the traits of leadership and supporting others. They also do not enjoy discussing politics or academic discoveries, they are more focused on their appearances and their connections and relationships with others, however, Consuls do enjoy discussing rumors, but they would rather put their skills to a positive use and not to a negative one. Consuls enjoy being in command both at their job and at home. A consul seems to enjoy being in power, yet at the same time supporting others, and having the favor from others. They want to make sure everyone is comfortable, but at the same time doing the correct thing and making sure that …show more content…
This does not really connect to me since I often enjoy being in control than supporting others. I would rather be in charge and provide others with the tools they need to succeed than not having authority and just giving support. A consul takes charge and guides their team to success. This characteristic does represent me since I often get in command during debates in history class when one of my classmates is having difficulty answering a question or elaborating on a thought. A consul also creates social events, I also represent this since I often am the one making plans with my friends. Another characteristic that relates to me, is the one regarding peoples happiness, I often plan events with the consent of everyone making sure that everyone is comfortable with the plans and is happy with them, making sure everyone enjoys them. A specific event is going to a Kanye West, some of my friends were not able to make it to the concert on the Monday and Tuesday, if I did not find tickets for the show on Wednesday it would mean either we would not go, or some of my friends were not going be able to go. However, I was able to get tickets for the show on Wednesday that way everyone was able to go and no one was left out or unhappy that they had to cancel plans they had made before. I am intrigued with the careers stated to be connected with my personality type, but I noticed that the career I am striving for is …show more content…

I am going to compare William Bell, a paramedic, and Tim Betita, a doctor of dental surgery and medical doctor. I’m going to compare them because both of their presentations were pretty interesting. Both of the jobs also seem to be fun and are often jobs thought of when thinking about the medical industry. Even more complex is the consideration of the relationship of personality influencing political behavior as a reversed phenomenon. While Post identifies that "the core leadership personality influences…leadership characteristics", he also recognizes, in the same sentence, that "political leadership is of course shaped by the cultural and political context" (2005, 69) in which the leader is involved. George & George add another intricacy to this concept by adding that not only do institutional variables, situational variables, and political culture play a part in assessing political personality, but the effect of these variables force the leader (essentially the leader's personality) to adapt to the role requirements (1998,67). Depending on the degree of adaptation, flexibility, and self-awareness, this factor alone may play a significant role in political behavior and…
