There are many constraints that organizations face on a daily basis. For example, profit maximization is the cause of many constraints that organizations face. These constraints can be related to things such as scarce resources, technology, obligations with contacts and regulations from state and local laws. When organizations try to increase its profits, it is important that business managers take into account any possible outside constraints that could possibly have a negative effect on the organization’s ability to reach its goals. Many organizations only take into account its internal constraints such as the long and short term significance of decision making. There are several factors that could affect an organization’s decision making, such as tastes and trends, budget and economy, competitors and state and federal laws. According to the Holy Bible, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Tastes and Trends
In order for an organization to succeed, management should focus a tremendous amount of attention on the present market trends within their marketing plan. For instance, various retail stores have made changes in the way they advertise to consumers to include advertisements on social media sites. With social media sites becoming increasingly popular with society, those organizations that are not utilizing them for advertising purposes are getting left behind.…
