Conserving water is when you preserve something to save for later. We are saving the freshwater for the future so that when we grow up we would still have some left. Corresponding with the introduction, many people in Latin America are dying at a record pace. By conserving some of the water that we all take advantage of, we save the water for the future when we need it the most. The amount of freshwater is decreasing and without the supply of freshwater we will surely die. You might ask, “Why can’t we use those huge filtration systems to filter the saltwater into freshwater?” The problem is that the desalination of water requires a ton of energy that we could use to accomplish something else. Also, salt dissolves very easily in water, making it hard to remove. More importantly, energy and the technology to filter water are very expensive. The other things that we …show more content…
By giving loads of freshwater to the poor Latin Americans they would most likely take advantage of the freshwater because there is so much of it and they think that I wont rub out, but why don't we save it for future generations so that we can have enough for our future generations. By the way there are many Latin Americans who are dying, why not help a whole bunch of people by conserving water, then giving tons of water to just help one
