Juvenile Offenders I believe juvenile offenders should be subjected to the same sentencing guidelines as adults who commit the same crime. My reason being is, pertaining to the proper age of knowing right from wrong. A teenager should have fully grasped the concept of what to do and what not to do through discipline or self experience socially. Although we do mature as we get older, doesn 't that doesn 't mean we should have to take the risk of bad deeds done by a minor, to repeat the same action as many have done before. Statistics have shown that majority of those who serve prison time end up going back at least once or even multiple times. Sometimes examples have to be made of individuals to ensure that fear is instilled into the people

“Morals are inherent from birth” (Wilde 1) says Jessica Wilde. In being raised, teenagers are completely aware from right and wrong pertaining to serious crimes. A lot of Criminals at a young age get reduced sentences and released back out in the world to commit more crimes after being institutionalized and rehabilitated. Their are repercussions for every action that children should be made aware of at an early age. The fear of punishment should keep both children and adults away from breaking the law. This country we live in has to maintain discipline and order. Making a example of children who believe they can rape, murder, and steal does not need to be apart of our society without being taught a proper lesson whether its a decade or a lifelong lesson, that will impact others positively. Some serial killers begin committing horrendous crimes at the age of a minor, which is considered under eighteen years of age. Justice should be served for all crimes committed no matter what age and especially if the crime committed is intentional. Children and teenagers making mistakes is made aware of, but their are many situations where these violent crimes are premeditated. Sadly some of these children that plan these attacks get off the hook and fully aware of what they are trying to accomplish. A violent mindset does not instantly begin knowing right from wrong the second they turn eighteen. For example, the Dartmouth College Professors, both a couple of New Hampshire were brutally stabbed in the chest and head by the hands of 16 and 17 year old
