Human Ambition is so powerful that humans are never fully satisfied. No matter how high we reach, we are always left wanting more. In Shakespeare’s tragedy, Macbeth, the contrast between the characters of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth exemplifies the consequences of human ambition unchecked by moral constraints.This effected through the use of metaphor and the diction of insane and tyrant.
