A serious problem affecting society today both directly and indirectly is drinking and driving. People of every age group for whatever reason have been getting behind the wheel of a vehicle after that have consumed more than the legal limit of alcohol. This is a troubling sign for drivers across American roadways. As drivers what can be done to ensure that we are safe from encountering potentially fatal accidents? This problem can be reduced if proper steps are taken to prevent people from leaving bars, clubs, and other establishments that serve alcohol. It is not enough that the legal blood alcohol content (BAC) is 0.08. There has been a push to reduce the BAC to 0.05 in order to reduce the amount of drivers that drink and drive.
