In my opinion I think someone breaking the law can also be “expressing the highest respect for law” if they are openly breaking the law for a just cause and willing to face the consequences for their actions. I believe that every circumstance you find yourself in will result in a consequence. I look at the peaceful protesters who lay in the street for their cause and willing let the police arrest them for their disobedience. They do not fight the police they adhere to their commands without issue. You act in an orderly fashion while protesting unjust laws. This is a civic responsibility. Simply stated when something is being done to a group of people that is morally

Which then require to get a lot of medical attention. Elderly individuals being incarcerated may, or have faced many difficulties adjusting to prison life. The circumstances in which it would be morally permissible to break the law depends on the validity of the law in the situation. For some things, such as jay walking when a car isn't coming, are acceptable as breaking said law would not pose a risk to the rule the law wished to enforce. Even if you jaywalked in this situation, it doesn't pose any risk to those around you and the action doesn't mean to undermine the validity of the law. There are cases where laws are unjust though, and to break them held protect another from suffering the same injustice. Martin Luther King, in his letter, states a similar idea where he believes a set of laws to be unjust so he resorts to acting in ways to undermine said laws.…

When it comes to the topic of laws, most of us will readily agree that breaking the laws is unjust. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is on the question of if there is ever a time when a law can acceptably be broken. Whereas some are convinced that laws should never be broken, others maintain that there are some instances where laws should be broken. Socrates and Antigone would agree with the statement that disobeying laws is never the answer. Likewise, I have always believed that breaking the laws should be punishable and should never be done.…

It is justified to break the law, particularly when the law being broken is unjust and immoral. An example of unjust and corrupt laws is the laws made in Nazi Germany. (King, 4) Plenty of these laws obliged people to report Jews for them to be terminated from Society. To oppose and break Nazi’s manmade law and help the Jews would be the moral and right thing to do. As a result, I assume that the only answer to the question of when is it justifiable to break a law is when that law violates more fundamental laws that maintain key human rights.…
