During the 1700’s, England was settling the Atlantic coast, Spain was settling New Mexico, Central America, and parts of Florida, the Native Americans were not settling, instead, they were being pushed around wherever there was open land, and France was settling parts of Canada, the five great lakes, and major rivers, such as the Mississippi River.
