Arguments Against The Death Penalty

Normally when people hear or talk about the death penalty they are 100 percent against it because it is unethical and inhumane. Meanwhile there are some people see that the death penalty is an archaic punishment, what the other people don’t realize is how modern and humane it has become. The death penalty is one of the most cost effective punishment (“Arguments … Death Penalty in the USA”).
There are many ways you can get put on death row. If any type of murder is committed, you will receive a trail and the jury will decide your sentence. In California there are many things that can cause somebody to have a death warrant, for example fatal assault by a prisoner serving a life sentence (“Crimes Punishable…Death Penalty”). Police in Oklahoma found that Malcom Rent Johnson was wrongly executed due to being testified against evidence that did not exist (“Crimes Punishable… Death Penalty”). You may ask, what is a capital crime? Well in Wyoming if you resist arrest you can be put on death row (“Crimes Punishable… Death Penalty”). If you inflict any type of bodily harm that killed the victim, then you have a pretty good chance on having a death warrant (“What are Capital Crimes…”).

Whether we are executing the right person or just it is just simply wrong. There are some people like me who think it is a good punishment because the convict needs to pay for what they did and need to know how many other lives are impacted not just the ones the convict hurt (“Arguments … Death Penalty in the USA”). But the other people think that no matter how bad the crime is that the inmate should just have to sit in prison and suffer though the brutal rapes and gang beatings, the people against the death penalty think that this is a better alternative! I have seen both point of views and I must agree that the death penalty is a very good idea and still should be enforced here in
