Alcoholic beverages trigger users to get various diseases in the long term such as liver failure, brain disease and death. According to the book titled Alcohol, liquor consumption is the primary reason for fatality or disability in Europe. In other words, almost 75,000 people die each year because of alcohol-related diseases (Nakaya, 76). Likewise, alcohol causes immediate health ramifications considering that a lot of the consequences appear more in the same moment rather than in the future in a variety of ways. For example, dulled senses, difficulty walking, slurred speech, inability to remember, violence, confusion, vomiting, and impaired judgment all occur when drinking a large amount of alcohol. In the early decades of Islamic history, alcohol was not prohibited until God ordered Mohammed to inform Muslims around about the dangers of alcohol consumption. In the Quran (the holy book of Islam), it is stated in different ways that consuming alcohol is on the top of the totem pole of the major sins. “They ask you about alcohol […] say in it is a great sin {yet, some} benefit for people, but its sin is greater than its benefit […]. (The Qur’an, Al-bqrah, 219). The effects on health, bad influence on youth, relation to drunk driving, and enhancement of violence are nationwide issues related to consuming alcohol, and the United States government should be more strict banning liquids. I heartily urge people to be aware of the impacts because if they quit this harmful habit, alcohol companies will stop the production and sales of alcohol. Here, a question should be asked for people who drink: Why does drinking become fine in weekends rather than on weekdays? I predict by banning alcohol sales and production, government will be more economically efficient because alcohol does not help the societal development due to the disadvantages on all the society
