Global Warming Essay
Probably the most worrying threat to our planet today is global warming. My essay will examine the reasons why global warming is occurring and discuss about the impacts, benefits, limitations and the solutions towards global warming.
Causes: The earth's temperature is gradually increasing. Signs are appearing all over, and some of them are unexpected. The heat is not only melting glaciers and sea ice but also shifting the precipitation patterns (rain, snow, sleet and hail) and setting animals on the move. Impacts like Hurricanes and storms are more likely to occur often and stronger, sea levels are expected to rise between 7-23 inches by the end of the century, Some diseases will spread like malaria that spreads by mosquitoes. …show more content…

These are ways scientists are trying to reduce Global warming and help the society. (My scientific solution towards the social environment) We can reduce/slow down our greenhouse gases emissions at home and in our everyday routines. We can make a difference by changing our behaviour to the environment and making lifestyle decisions that reduce emissions like reducing the use of cars movement for unnecessary reasons for example driving from a place to another which is only 5 minutes walk from your home or smoking in a humid country like Singapore. This would be a very helpful scientific solution to people that use cars and greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions everyday continuously for unnecessary reasons because if all of us don't take a step forward in our daily activities there are chances for no one to survive, which could occur at the end of this century like massive/increased natural disasters, hotter temperatures around the world still increasing and diseases that could grow stronger like the EGE. If we continue to use fossil fuels science could only hope for hydropower that would last for a very long time but not as fast and strong as fossil fuels and hydropower will not be enough
