The NHL, or the National Hockey League is one of many hockey leagues. It is also home to many great players such as, Sidney Crosby, Erik Karlsson, Patrick Kane, and many other great players. But one of the best all time players in the NHL is Connor McDavid. Connor McDavid is a young Canadian athlete that started playing hockey at a very young age. He quickly gained an interest and talent for the sport and slowly worked his way to the pros.
Connor McDavid was born January 13, 1997 in Richmond Hill, Canada. Connor first became familiar with ice hockey when he was 4 years old. His father realized his sons interest for the sport and immediately placed Connor into several minor leagues. One of those leagues went on to win four championships. When Connor was 15 he was selected first overall by the Erie Otters. Connor was very successful during his teen years on the Otters. But officially started his career when he was drafted first overall in 2015 by the Oilers. Connor started off to a good start but suffered from a broken clavicle which made him sit out for 37 games. After his injury he became a hockey superstar, becoming the captain of the Oilers at the age of 19. Connor is improving his game to this day.
Connor Mcdavid is a very talented and skilled hockey superstar. And because of this he has received many awards and has accomplished countless achievements. He started getting these awards when he was just 15. In his early career he started off with two OHL rookie of the year awards and moved on to awards like the OHL scholastic player of the year. He also has recieved many awards in his professional career. For example, he has won three gold medals for three different events. Connor has also accomplished many achievments throughout his professional career and is still getting more and more achievments
