Henk Rogers reiterates, through his campaign to run his house on solar electricity and amicable quest to ensure Hawaii's electrical independency by 2045, that energy independency is accomplished when an individual or even a community can successfully supply their own energy needs without assistance from the power grid. Through his tenacious aspiration to encourage residents to go off grid, Rogers has inspired countless residents to become energy independent. In doing so, he has prioritized it as his ‘number one’ objective, insistent to reduce carbon emission from combustible fuels. The key factor that lead him to partake of the clean energy movement was perturbing fact that Hawaii’s hallmark coral reefs are perishing in the increasingly acidic ocean.…

Argumentative essay Samuel Newitt Wood is one of the founding fathers of the state of Kansas, and in particular Chase County, Kansas. Wood contributed a lot to the development of the territory, and eventually the state of Kansas. Wood does not have a memorial, and is not recognised as a prominent citizen of Kansas. He is deserving of a monumental plaque to commemorate his contributions to Kansas. In the ninth chapter of his novel Why the Allies Won by Richard Overy breaks down how the moral and spiritual beliefs of the individual nations might have played a role in the effectiveness of their strategies. He proposes that citizens will “fight with less effect in the service of an evil cause.” In response to this hypothesis, I believe that the author has made a sound argument. Looking at the views of the Axis powers, the primary figureheads of Germany and Japan were driven by a view of ethnic superiority, while the Allied powers had hatred of Hitler as a “moral cement.”…
