Connection without Hesitation It was a pouring rain. I was invited to attend to a birthday party of a 10 year old boy. First, I stop by at Shopko to buy some gifts. Then headed to the place where the party will be held. Rose describe the place but I 'm not familiar. I Never been to that place but she said it was just across by the Library of Glasgow. We park in front of the building and rushed inside.
There was loud funky disco music when I first step into the door while my husband behind me with our three years old toddler and my 15 yrs old son . Ate (means sister we use this word to show respect when we talk to older female person even though we are not blood-related) Cecile came over and gave me a hug, she is a jolly petite 50-year-old lady. She wore casual brown wool sweater and black jeans. She said, “musta?”(how are you?) . I said “mabuti po”(good). It’s been awhile since the last time I saw them, and ate Rose,, gave me a hug too. She invited me to the birthday party. She is also a Filipina who is married to her American husband

In center of the hall on the right side of the wall, there were two 50” flat screen TV. Love Joy, who is about 26 years old, is setting up the Dance Mania. It’s a game that uses motion sensor to track our moves. So Love Joy and faced the the wall where the two TVs, and started to dance with the tune of YMCA. Love Joy is about 28 years old wearing a black jeans and her silky pink yellowish longsleeves shirt flows while raising her hands over her head to form the letter YMCA. Before the song ended I look behind me and I saw the children, Akeisha and Martha, Kalyn’s classmate and some of the lady joined dancing with us. The boys are just watching and laughing on us because some of us had a stiff and an awkward movements ,and slowly keeping up. But in the end of the song we are all laughing and catching our breath. Our dance movements doesn’t matter as long as we are having
