1. The conflict theorist perspective on education and income is that one would affect the other. They would argue that a community or a certain group of people would be at a disadvantage where the best education would be in question. Conflict theorist would purpose that the lower income society would not offer the best education consequently, this would make it difficult for these group of people to invest in the best strategy to have a substantial income. From a conflict theorist point of view the group with the best income will strive for the best education therefore using their attribute they learn with the best education due to more money they’re likely to have a better outcome in the income department. Consequently, we have social problems today that the conflict theorist would implement their theory. For example, the dilemma with the TOP’S program plenty of students who are depending on these funds for school will have to find another resource to attend school full time compare to the students who parents can afford to pay for secondary education.
• Symbolic functionalism would indicate that the education system is bias, and that it would primarily focus on the upper class.
