Conflict sources in the United States are nonverbal communication, written communication, attitude, gestures, facial expressions, stereotype, and eye contact. The United States is no different than any other country when it comes to conflict in the workplace. Perception is a big part of communication that is determined by each culture. I think communication is the top cause of conflict in most countries including the United States. The receiver’s interpretation of what was said with facial express and attitude can start the conflict without understanding what the message was to start.
I am guilty of misunderstanding different cultures. I see facial expression as a negative attitude when talking with someone of a different culture. Some cultures
