An example of this is detailed with the implications of multiple identities possessed by the character assumed within the quote "I am a spy, a sleeper, a spook, a man of two faces. Perhaps not surprisingly, I am also a man of two minds, I am not some mutant from a comic book or movie, although some have treated me as such " (Nguyen 1). Evidently, the character exposes his true identity indicating his role as being of many, represented as an act of deceit. This signifies the character’s intentions, presenting various objectives and emphasizing the importance of his position. This is evident with the reference to the housekeeper, as is typically seen in a suitable living environment. However, the character is unaffected by this, and continues to perform his objective, with resources given. Aside from this, the quote expressed by the "Spy" as "I had sufficient privacy in the General's villa at night, I had little during the day"(Nguyen 25). Quite evidently, the "Spy" is seen to be lacking sufficient privacy during the day, of which presents of great importance. This signifies underlying threat the "Spy" faces, as his objectives are threatened by an outside source. However, the character values the time given, and continues with his tasks. The quotation stated by the "The walls where I had lived for the previous years, the walls glittering with broken brown glass, and crowned with rusted barbed
