This is one very well-known form of conflict. This type was seen in the book “Into Thin Air”. Lots of people say that the trek on the way down the mountain is worse that on the way up, this held true with Beck Weathers who found that he could not go any farther once him and his group made it to the “South Col”. He was left lying in the snow overnight and throughout the next day in the cold snow and wind. Being left for that long you start to feel nothing, no pain, but that does not mean you are not in it. People that were at camp went back for him but beck was said to be dead and left out in the snow to freeze solid, he was alive in his mind. He saw his family, his kids, they told him to get moving. In his frozen stupor he got up and started walking towards camp, a camp where they thought he was dead. Once he got there he knew he was safe, he would live
