Conflict In Richard Connell's The Most Dangerous Game

“The Most Dangerous Game” is a interesting story. Rainsford ends up on an island with a man who hunts men. The man starts hunting Rainsford. Rainsford finally knows how the animal feels. Zaroff gets the challenge he wants. Rainsford gets stronger. In Richard Connell’s “The Most Dangerous game” the three main conflicts are Rainsford vs. Zaroff, Rainsford vs. pipe, and Rainsford vs. Ivan. The first most important conflict is the Rainsford vs. Zaroff. It is man vs. man. The conflict is external because it’s happening outside instead of inside. It started when Rainsford shows up at Zaroff’s mansion. Zaroff knows Rainsford from his books. Zaroff wants to hunt with Rainsford. Rainsford rejects Zaroff. Zaroff ends up hunting Rainsford. Rainsford ends up winning the game between him and Rainsford. Rainsford won by escaping to the river. So he can surprise Zaroff in his room. The problem is resolved because Rainsford kills Zaroff. Ivan. It is Man vs. Man. The conflict is external. Their Acquaintance started by when Rainsford gets out the water and comes on the island. He ends up at Zaroff’s mansion and Ivan opens the door. Ivan was about to shoot Rainsford when Zaroff comes down the stairs. Later on in the story, Rainsford agrees to be in the game with Rainsford. Ivan got all of his stuff together like his lunch and shoes for the game. Ivan also went on one of the walks with Zaroff during the game. Rainsford made some traps to get rid of Zaroff. One of of the traps only injures Zaroff’s shoulder. The Knife and sapling trap is the one that kills Ivan.The trap wasn’t meant for Ivan. Ivan has died in that moment. Zaroff just lost his servant that kills the man if they don’t wanna go in the game. Zaroff just has his dogs now before he
