This date marks the day that I was confirmed. Each individual pertaining a role in this vast event was to wear an outfit or dress incorporating red. Accordingly, the outfit I choose to wear was a red and blue patterned dress with a red sweater. Being nervous the day of my confirmation, I made myself extremely cautious not to touch or go near anything that would risk my dress to acquire even a speck of dirt on it. The car ride to church I was nervous, but excited to have the presence of my family there at the same time. At church as everyone was seated, my Pastor said for all of the class that was being confirmed that day to go to the front of the church. All of the process I do not remember, nevertheless the life verse that we had picked was shared with the church along with the reason why we picked it. I do know at the end of the process, she rubbed ointment on our forehead that did not have a smell, it only felt waxy. Next, my pastor placed a necklace with a cross on it, on each of us, then we were officially confirmed. All the participants of confirmation class received presents, in addition and had cake to celebrate. At that moment and behind, I was considered an adult in the church. I had the opportunity to vote on decisions there, such as if renovations needed to be done. Resulting that I was confirmed I was permitted to have my first communion in the same day. Furthermore, once I had been confirmed I was no longer supposed to go to the children’s Bible school. Now even under the circumstance that I would attend church somewhere else, I still would have communion. I felt absolutely blissful and my tone was respectful,
