I look at confidentiality as two pronged attacked. The first part is that we keep the records in the office in filing cabinets that lock. The second part is the harder of the two parts and I call it training. What I mean is that in order to maintain the confidentiality of our students we have to train our staff in what to do. This training starts with helping teachers understand that we can not talk about student and how they are doing where ever we are. Teacher also need to be train on how to handle student records, like not just leaving them laying around. Student confidentiality is very important and should never be taken
