E. Fortune is an Professor she has taught at The School of Social Work, University at Albany, and is the Associate Dean at State University of New York. She completed her MSW and Ph.D at the University of Chicago. Accuracy: The information was retrieved from a variety of issues from the client that were analyzed and studied. The evidence is the results that support the study and analysis. The journal doesn't show any reviews in regards to this academic journal. I can personally relate to some of the analysis as far as the welfare recipient's having low self-esteem and somewhat no motivation. However, there are a few who wants to be productive and make a living.
Purpose: This journal has informed me of the different issues that were studied. I believe these same issues occur in 2015. With the resources available it is easier to transition out the AFDC program. The studies were clear, but it was a lot of studies to put into one journal.
