Final Health Paragraph Throughout this whole lesson, I have learned that beauty is only an opinion, and your opinion of yourself should be that you’re beautiful. I was taught many different perspectives on the idea of beauty, one of which coming from the media. Thanks to commercials, as well as magazines, I was told that if I didn’t have defined cheekbones, perfect teeth, an award winning smile, hair wavy and full of life, to be less than a size eight, or else I wasn’t beautiful, I was anything but it. And it hurt, knowing that I didn’t fit majority of those attributes, but I was also told another perspective of beauty, one from my classmates and the student body of the high school end of my school.…

The song “invisible” talks about how some people don’t have the stuff we have or their lifestyle is different,so we treat them different than others. Here is my evidence for my claim,”Crowded hallways are the loneliest places for outcasts and rebels or anyone who just dares to be different and you've been trying for so long to find out where your place is,but in their narrow minds there's no room for anyone who dares to do something different. ”So we as people should treat the people that have a different lifestye than us better. These, and many more, are phrases used by girls all over the world. Girls are taught by society at a young age that they must look, act, and speak a certain way. This shows how much society influences the view of beauty. Society’s view of beauty can be good because it helps girls learn how to set goals and accomplish them, but overall it has a negative effect on young girls because it lowers self-esteem, sets an unrealistic standard for girls to reach, and can cause girls to have health issues. It is important to learn how to set and accomplish goals at a young age to be able to function normally later in life.…
