In no way should there ever be a Confederate History Month celebrated in the United States of America. First of all, Steve Tuttle clearly said loud and clear that the Confederacy lost the war. Why celebrate when your side didn’t even win. There’s no point in even saying that it would celebrate the hard work and sacrifice that the “poor” confederate soldiers made. They wouldn’t have died if they didn’t fight to keep such cruel “practices” in the United States. Especially, when it all started due to slave rights, not state rights. Slavery played the major role, where the Confederacy was fighting to keep such an inhumane act. Celebrating a Confederate History Month is basically celebrating the fact that slavery was ok.
