To survive in today’s fast-changing digital world, innovation can be an improvement on an existing product. Innovation is tied to the company strategy and built into the core competence of the business.
In publishing industry, the publisher giant, Condé Nast, owns lifestyle, culture and technology magazines acquired Pitchfork Media, the company behind the influential music website and quarterly magazine in October 2015. The acquisition gives Condé Nast a stand-alone music publication with a strong editorial voice, said Fred Santarpia, the company’s chief digital officer. Additionally, Pitchfork will be Condé Nast’s first pure music
