Kids, teens, and even professional athletes are suffering from concussions every day. Many of these kids are returning to sports far too soon, their concussions have not healed and their brains are not back to normal, and it is damaging their brains. As a result of all of these concussions, in the long term it leads to suicidal thoughts, major headaches, and many more side effects. Concussions are very dangerous and everyone needs to take treatment and prevention seriously.

Next, Pop Warner football has major issues with concussions. Pop Warner is a football league for kids from ages 5-15, this can be very dangerous for very young kids. Kids that are exposed to concussions at a young age can have an even more serious head trauma down the road. Pop Warner has insisting the coaches do the following; always having a licensed athletic trainer at each game, provide concussion education to parents and players and have emergency forms on file. Not all coaches follow these recommendations.
In conclusion, concussions are very dangerous and everyone needs to take treatment and preventions seriously. The NFL needs to pay more attention to concussions with their players.
