Vince Vlasuk, a 38 year old consultant from Strongsville, Ohio, feels that “football is too dangerous and players do not have the equipment they need to protect themselves, particularly at the junior high and high school levels”. Sports programs have a responsibility to educate their players on the impacts of concussions and how they can affect the athlete’s body.
