Injuries go hand in hand with football and other sports. To some players the risk is worth the reward and to others it is not.(Martin,p5). Not everyone who plays football is traumatized with brain damage, sometimes people don't realize how many people played football at some point in their life and are just perfectly fine. A study was done to show that for every 10,000 games and practices a high school football player participates you may suffer 11.2 concussions. That's only a 0.00112% chance per game or practice you participate in.(Breslow,p2) This fact proves that the chances of your receiving a concussion are not as likely as most might think.
