Conclusion On Poor Management

The management of a company is responsible for the success of any business. Without good and effective management, a company can experience much difficulty in different aspects of the business, and I believe this is the case for us. Recently we have been experiencing dissatisfaction with our management among not only customers, but also employees are not happy with some of our management. This can be detrimental to our company by incurring loss in sales and loss of productivity, which in the long run costs us money. The longer we wait to fix the problem, the worse the face of our company will become, and the more money we will lose. All over the media, one can find bad ratings and reviews regarding our company. Employees who encounter bad management situations will become frustrated with their work, compelling them to not work as hard. For example, if an employee is required to work ten more hours than planned, they will not work as hard because they have no desire what so ever of working. Also, many complain of low wages, which they believe is unfair considering the long and hard hours they are required to work. This may even cause them to quit, which really induces negativity in terms of productivity. If you were treated unfairly, would you still work hard day in and day out? Poor management will also lead to a decline in our clientele base. This will happen because as the word of bad management spreads, through both unsatisfied employees and unsatisfied customers, people will be more compelled to shop with other …show more content…
The first of these ideas is to require those pursuing management positions to hold a degree relating to the business management field. We should also require and provide yearly classes, in which we teach proper management skills according to our own standards. This will assure that our management has experience and knowledge on how to hold the position. I also think it would be very helpful to be more interactive with our employees, and to ask the, for feedback regarding our company. If we find there to be multiple complaints about a single managing employee, we should take action to terminate this problem. This will give our employees more comfort with our company as their employer. One last idea I had, would be to run a day or two a month where a manager and a person who they manage switch positions. This would give each of the employees the view from each others shoes. It will bring the manager to the realization of how hard the work can be, especially when being told what to do, while also giving the other employee a view of the responsibilities of a manager. Though we do not need to take every one of these steps, we must reform our management system, otherwise it will only hurt us in the long
