Conch Lord Of The Flies Symbolic Analysis

Lord of the Flies is such a good book and it has a lot of symbolism in it it also has action adventure and lots of funny parts. The symbols i will be talk about is the beast, the conch, and the glasses. The all play an important part in this book some is more important than others. But these are the ones i'm going to be talking about. Have you ever been afraid of something you don't know what is? What is your biggest fear? The beast is a symbol in lord of the flies. we all are afraid of stuff especially when we are young we are afraid of the dark and as we get older we are scared of other stuff. Sometimes we are afraid of things we don't know what is like if you were afraid of monsters. We never see them but we hear about them and we believe what we hear. In the lord of flies they all are scared of the beast but there is a only a few kids say they have seen it however no one knows what it is at first and don't know entail the end of the book. When someone tell you something you have a choice to believe or not to believe your choice. Most people want to be like everyone else. The conch is another symbol in the lord of the flies. At first the glasses are not broken like the society. But then the glasses break and so does society. The glasses also represent technology. Then they had no other way to start the fire the glasses were the answer so everyone wants the glasses kind of like when a new phone comes out everyone wants it. They also show that how ever has the glasses also gets a better chance of getting rescued because they can make a fire with the glasses and people can see the firer.
