Conceptual Framework In Nursing

A variety of theories have been put forward to deliver and implement for their purposefulness in terms of explaining the natural truth and even physical sciences. Obviously, nursing discipline also have been developed their knowledge using deductive and inductive methods for generating nursing theory to enhance the better care. Before exploring the distinction between the theory, theoretical framework, and conceptual framework, the becoming information will describe the definition of those terms as follow:
Theory can be defined into broadly meaning with common features as explaining and making predictions (Imenda, 2014). For instance, Liehr & Smith (1999, p 8 as cited in Imenda, 2014, p. 186-187) stated that “a theory is a set of interrelated concepts, which structure a systematic view of phenomena for the purpose of explaining or prediction. A theory like a blue print, a guide for modeling a structure. A blueprint depicts the elements of each element to the other; just as a theory depicts the concepts, which compose it and the relation of concepts with each other”. There are several of the eminent nursing theories, such as the goal attainment theory, self-care deficit theory, and etc,.

The theoretical framework provides a general representation of relationships between events in a particular phenomenon. On the other hand, the conceptual framework exemplifies the specific direction or the linkage of variables for the development of the study or theory(Waltz, Strickland, & Lenz, 1991).
