I. Introduction
A. Thesis: Those who are against guns on campus argue that students are not responsible enough to carry a weapon, but leaving students unarmed leaves them defenseless. In order to give students a sense of security, they should be allowed concealed weapons. In fact, studies show concealed weapons are effective in reducing sexual assault.
II. Body
A. Paragraph 1-Many who support gun free zones on college campuses view students as impulsive and unable to understand the responsibilities of owning a weapon, however, universities that allow concealed weapons show evidence against this claim.

It would be harder for sexual predators to find victims if they knew most of their potential victims are armed.

1. Of them, only 26 volunteered that they used a weapon to resist. In none of those 26 cases was the rape completed; in none of the cases did the victim suffer additional injury after she deployed her weapon (Kopel).
III. Conclusion
A. Restatement of Thesis
i. Unarmed students are vulnerable to attack. To prevent this from happening, students need concealed weapons to fight back. Giving students the ability to protect themselves lowers the chances of them being a victim of
