The argument on whether college students should be able to have concealed firearms on campuses, including classrooms, dorms, dining halls, and even the library has been an ongoing discussion. On Feb.14th, 2008, a former student of Northern Illinois University went on killing six people, and wounding fifteen. On April 2007, another experience took pace at Virginia Tech, where a gunman killed thirty-three people and left over thirty people injured. Some believe that having guns on campus could serve as protection. Having a gun could give them an opportunity to defend themselves. Others disagree with the idea, arguing that it would attract violence and could be misused. I believe that students should not be permitted to carry concealed firearms
