Abortions is the termination of a pregnancy. More women are getting them, because of health reasons or something went wrong with the baby. I don’t not applaud abortions, although you do have a choice, but why get pregnant if you know that’s not something you want. No support at home? Financial problems? Having an abortion can be risky. Women who have abortions might have long- term infections. The mother might not be able to conceive a child ever again. I am pro-choice, but not because I do not value human life, and most certainly not because I hate children. I believe that human life is of the utmost importance, but I also think that women’s rights are essential. It is not inhumane, or unfair for women to seek out an abortion, it is their medical decision, and it is their right to have control over their own body. People state that the mother could simply give the child up for adoption, but that may not be the best option, and there are a number of reasons as to why someone would seek out an abortion. Pregnancies can be extremely costly, and the mother may be unable to afford to keep the child.…
