This letter is being written in response to our meeting on December 13, 2016, and the memo that was presented to me in that meeting. First, I would like to thank you for taking the time and thought to write that memo, and then meeting with me to explain your thoughts. It means alot to me. The information contained within the memo was indeed both informative and helpful in explaining the areas where my work needs improvement, and I plan to use your guidance to better my work. Recently, I have had many other commitments and activities outside my job and can now see that these activities have had an impact on my performance, and I sincerely apologize for the conflict. Going forward, I plan to thoroughly dedicate myself to job improvement.
Indeed, the biggest challenge I seem to face on a regular basis, is achieving a balance between the time I need to inspect and assess my parks for safety and aesthetics, versus the time that I need to be in the office doing computer work and paperwork. Clearly, I understand the importance of my role in ensuring patron safety and enjoyment of our parks, and I do work very hard to ensure a high level of park safety and aesthetics. As well, I plan to spend more time in the office. With having such a vast territory to cover, it is sometimes difficult to anticipate the time that I will need to assess my parks and then be able to return to the office in order to do my work there. Indeed, time is precious, and as you know, I often have to drive well over 100 miles in a day. Sometimes, the furthest parks under my care in Boca Raton, may take upwards of an hour to get to when traffic is heavy, and visiting these parks generally takes the entire eight hour shift which often leaves little, or no, room for office
