In a single day, I communicate with my phone and computer at least seventy-five percent of the day because most of my family and friends use Facebook, Instagram, and Snap Chat to communicate with me and I use them to communicate with them as well. I use my emails to conduct business, to order products from other companies, and to keep up with important college emails. Because of Facetime and Skype, we now can see facial expressions and hear the pitch of someone’s voice in real time no matter how close or far the person lives. We no longer rely on e-mails to communicate via computer. The one piece of advice from Bevan & Sole I could use to improve my computer-mediated-communication is to analyze my own communication and “when you communicate, be conscious of the language you use and the nonverbal signals you send. Consider the purpose, receiver, and topic of the communication.” I think if everyone considered these things, they could communicate
