During my three-day diet analysis, I consumed approximately 180.19 grams of naturally occurring sugar and 31.77 grams of added sugar. I was shocked to find out that my added sugar intake was so low without much effort. If I could change one thing, it would be my natural sugar intake which is pretty high for a three-day period. Although the sugar from fruits are natural, as a diabetic, I still feel as though too much can cause harm to my body. I need to work on exercising moderation in this area. I will try my best to cut down on fruits I know have a high amount of natural sugar such as grapes, watermelons and bananas.
The recommended kilocalorie intake for me was 2,052, which is close to the average person 's recommended daily intake. However, for someone like me who is trying to lose weight, this recommendation will most likely not work for me. I only can work out 4 to 5 times a week and this won 't be conducive to my 2 pounds a week weight loss goal. Nonetheless, if I was to be at my goal weight at the time, with the proper nutrition diet followed with a good workout regimen, I believe that I consuming 2,052 calories a day could be realistic.

I know that since I am at a high risk for many diseases, being mindful of the foods that I am consuming is always the route to go. Two things I would like to change immediately regarding my diet is my consumption of processed, fried, and fast foods. My poor eating habits have been my only barrier when it comes to reaching my weight goal and I know that limiting my intake on junk food will help tremendously. Since I am in college now, it is hard for me to find time to prepare and cook meals at home. Despite the difficulties, I will try meal prepping in an effort to help not only my health but the time that it takes to actually prepare healthy
