The first artifact that I will discuss about is my computer. My computer is a 2005 Macbook Pro. The Mac is made of white chrome. It is important to me since it is so useful. It helps me complete all of my schoolwork easily. It is also fun to play games on in my free time when I’m not working on something else. Since the Mac is useful and entertaining my computer is tremendously important to me. The second artifact that is important to me is the book, ”The Time Pirate.” The book is about a kid who can travel time with a mysterious orb invented by Leonardo da Vinci and he flies his dad’ airplane. I created this spreadsheet using a google document, some of the tools I used consisted of gathering data and documenting the data we came up with. After that I color coded the M&M colors by filling in the background and also created a pie chart to show the data we gathered. "It 's a Beautiful Thing": Art, Culture, History and Humanity in George Orwell 's 1984 In 1984 George Orwell pulls readers into his horrific and at the same time awe- inspiring totalitarian society, dictated by a dystopian political system that builds a world on omnipresent surveillance, public manipulation, oppression, hatred, propaganda and "their sole motive, [which is] the quest for power" (Paul 215) .
